Insurance is the moment of truth of the transport risk: it determines what is covered, up to what amount and against which recovery actions. Our insurance-law courses offer a practitioner’s reading of it, from the contract to the claim.

They cover in particular:

Are these courses eligible under the IDD (DDA) obligation?
Yes. The insurance modules cover themes eligible for the continuing-training obligation of insurance distributors (15 hours a year). A certificate stating the duration and content is issued.
Are claims and recourse management covered?
Yes. Claims management and recourse management each have a dedicated day, based on real files.
Is policy drafting addressed?
Yes. A course covers the pitfalls of drafting marine insurance policies, clause by clause.
